| He is recorded in the Furfeld Church book in 1730 when his daughter,Anna Rosina married there. "burger und Inwnner zu Sennfeld inOdenwald." Kilian was a citizen and inhabitant of Sennfeld inOdenwald. Sennfeld is a village on the Seckbach River, northeast ofTreschklingen. The family's name in south Germany is "Knorzer" and itmeans "one who laments" The name Knorzer is still common to the Badenarea of Germany and is derived from Knorr, meaning a knot, a shortthick man. Another spelling is "Knortzer" The present day spellingKanatzar means a Russian stem and root, and "Son of the King". TheHeraldic description of the Kanatzar Coat of Arms is, Arms: Argent, aneagle displayed, azure, tied about the neck, gules. Crest: on a mountvert, a lion passant, azure.The large shield above the word Kanatzaris silver-white, which is the meaning of "argent". The eagle is lightazure. "Gules" means red and refers to a red neckpiece wrapped aroundthe throat. "Vert" refers to what the lion at the top of the crest isstanding on and is a light green.
